Android Marshmallow 6.0 rolls out in Moto DROID Turbo 2, Moto E, Moto X Force, others: Now many of the phones have their operating system upgraded to the latest Android version, the Marshmallow 6.0, including the Moto DROID Turbo 2, Moto E, Moto X Force and several other smart phones. The first in the industry to upgrade their smart phone’s operating system into the Marshmallow 6.0 is Motorola. They already have several handsets with the latest version of Android operating system in their smart phones and now is working to extend it to the other smart phones.
The Moto G has received their update only two days ago and the Moto DROID Turbo 2 also got it a fee days ago. The Moto DROID Turbo 2 has received the update a few days back and now is equipped with new features and technology with the latest Android version.
According to the records, the Verizon Wireless had pulled down the related page which showed the update for the Android Marshmallow 6.0 version for the Moto DROID Turbo 2. There was no notion as to why they took such a step and why the carrier had pulled down the page, but certain the said firmware update was not really expected in the smart phone. There are a lot of controversies regarding why it took such a long time for the Moto DROID Turbo 2 to come up with the update when even the employee version which was out in December came with the update.
Several Motorola handsets already received the update such as the Moto X Style, the Moto G third gen, Moto X Play, Moto G turbo edition as well as the Moto 2 second gen.
No one is really sure about whether the Moto DROID Turbo will receive the update or not, but still you can always keep a track by checking for updated in the settings app. Also, Motorola declared that in the near future, it will go beyond boundaries to bring the update to all the handsets of Motorola. Majority of the Motorola handsets will be updated to the Android Marshmallow 6.0.
