According to the most reliable and popular Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo – the iPhone 8 will come with the glass body and make its debut in 2017. The analyst also stated that the iPhone 8 will sport an AMOLED screen, as opposed to IPS LCD panel that has been a standard till now for all the iPhone models and because of the all glass casing the AMOLED screen is used to compensate for the extra weight added.
People may say that an all glass body will make the iPhone prone to damage and less durable. In the past Apple has used for its smartphones the glass as the primary shell construction material. The aluminum design have got some pretty stale now and so the smartphone manufacturer will need something fresh. And yes Samsung the Apple’s biggest competitor has gone for glass backs for the latest duo of Galaxy S7 Edge and Galaxy S7 flagships.

To back to top again of sales the iPhone will need a refreshed hardware design. This was declined earlier for the first time in nearly a decade.
