Google Nexus 5X Review
Google Nexus 5X measures 147× 72.6× 7.9 mm and it weighs only 136g. This size and weight makes the device feel light in the hand and more comfortable and easy to operate with one hand. Unlike Nexus 6P, this device doesn’t comes in and all metal cover, rather is has a plastic backing. And it is for this reason that the weight of the device is much lighter than Nexus 6P. The device is available in three colours, Carbon (black), Quartz (white) or Ice (light green).
The device has the fingerprint sensor integrated at its back, which is called Google’s Nexus Imprint sensor. And this fingerprint sensor can do everything that Apples’ Touch ID and Apple Pay can do. To unlock the device through the fingerprint sensor, the users do not have to press the sensor button instead of that they just have to curl their fingers around the phone like usual and that will unlock the device.
The rear side also has and LED flash and the Nexus Logo. The device has another standout design feature which is its USB-C port present at the bottom along with a 3.5mm headphone jack. The USB-C port not only helps in fast data transfer, but it also facilitates quicker charging. The nano SIM slot is present on the left side of the device.
The device has an IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen display and it comes with a 5.2 inch screen. The resolution of Nexus 5X is 1080×1920 pixels and its pixel density is 423 ppi. The device comes protected by a Corning Gorilla Glass 3 along with an oleophobic coating. The display is clear and sharp but the colour reproduction is weak when compared to that of the AMOLED screen Android smartphones.

The device does not offer a slot for microSD card and therefore the phone’s storage cannot be expanded further. The device runs on the updated version of Android, that is, the Android Marshmallow.
According to Google’s claim, Nexus 5X has the best camera which Google has ever released in its Nexus flagship. The camera comes with 12.3 mega pixel main or rear camera and its camera is capable of capturing more light to provide a better quality low light images. Therefore, this device is best to capture indoor shots. Apart from these, the main camera also comes with an aperture of f/2.0, geo tagging, touch focus, face detection, panorama, HDR and an IR laser assisted auto focus.
