Lenovo Vibe K5 Note Review: Lenovo has presented the K5 Note smartphone in India. Lenovo’s current low cost K-series has had a bit of a unique crunch over the previous year. So this time Lenovo has decided to present two K5 variations in India which is the best K5 Note, and the cheap Vibe K5.
Lenovo Vibe K5 Note Review
The Vibe K5 is a functional, low-cost phone calculated to appeal to those on a tight budget, and this is the device we’re taking an earlier gaze at today. The Vibe K5 Note is the smart phone that has all the bells and hoots to give competition to phones like the LeEco Le 2 and Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 and more. So this is good news for all purchasers. The Vibe K5 Note is without a doubt the best looking K-series phone that Lenovo has built in forever.
The front of the Vibe K5 phone has a 5.5 inch Full HD IPS LCD display with 1920×1080 pixels firmness that goes up to 450nits of intensity. The phone can be sufficiently noticeable outdoors, although on an overcast day. The screen tends to appeal with fingerprints and is quite reflective so you will have to wait and see how well it holds up in bright sunlight. It’s brighter, has improved contrast and much better viewing angles than the Vibe K4 Note.
Look and Sense
The fresh Vibe K5 looks attractive much alike to its sibling, the K5 Plus. It has just the same style and is available in the same three colours like gold, silver and grey. The body frame is all plastic, except for a thin plate of metal in the middle of the last. This supports the phone feel durable, for what it’s worth. A glittery chrome ring runs around the front and keeps the screen from scratches when the handset is placed face-down on a table.
The right side of the handset integrates a volume rocker and a power button. The volume rocker isn’t segmented which we don’t mainly love of because of the reduced tactile feedback. The power button is well located and sits right within reach of your finger. The left side of the smart phone has the Hybrid Dual SIM nano hole wherein the second slot doubles up as a memory card space. Lenovo says you can add in 128GB to the handset to add to the 32GB built in storage.
Grasp is attractive, decent, and one-handed usage is easy. The Vibe K5 is light to gently curl edges on the back. The Micro-USB and 3.5mm docks are on the top, and the power button and volume buttons are on the right side. A status LED lights up in the upper right corner of the front when you have a warning.
While the front of the phone includes an 8MP camera, the rear module has a 13MP sensor built into it. Below it lays the dual LED flash and the fingerprint module is the third hardware feature visible on the device.
Software Vibe K5
The Lenovo K5 Note runs Android 6.0 with a remarkably light UI overlay. This guarantees that things keep successively nice and smooth all around. Additions tend to be rather useful, mainly Secure Zone that permits you to protect all your secret information and lets workers join 2 examples of applications like Whatsapp in one device. The phone is mechanical by a 1.8Ghz MediaTek Helio P10 chipset, which is reversed with 3 or 4GB of RAM depending on the SKU you select. There’s 32GB of storage built in as well. What really surprised us however was how Lenovo achieved to suitable into a 3500 mAh battery life in the slim case of the device.
Price of Vibe K5 Note
The phone estimates of Rs. 11,999 and 13,499 for the 3GB and 4GB alternatives and makes for a rather well polished device at its price point.
