Micromax Canvas XP 4G with 5.00-inch display launched in India: India, Micromax has launched a new smartphone i.e. the Canvas XP 4G which is priced at Rs. 7,499, from Tuesday the smartphone will be available on Snapdeal. The highlights of the smartphone at this price point are its 3GB of RAM and 4G LTE connectivity.

The Micromax Canvas XP 4G is based on Android 5.1 Lollipop and it is dual-SIM smartphone. The smartphone features a 5-inch HD (720/1280 pixel display). It is powered by a 1GHz quad-core processor and it is coupled with 3GB of RAM.
This smartphone sports the rear autofocus camera with flash of 8-megapixel and a front-facing fixed focus camera of 2-megapixel. It comes with an inbuilt storage of 16GB and that can be expandable via microSD card. So, apart from the 4G LTE the smartphone offers the regular connectivity options. The Micromax Canvas XP 4G runs on a 2000mAh battery, but the company yet has not specified stand by time or talk time.
Commenting on the launch, the Chief Marketing Officer of Micromax i.e. Shubhajit Sen stated, Micromax has successfully expanded its overall smartphone market and had created a favourable impact in the ecommerce channel by capturing over 11 percent of the exclusive online market last year. A significant part of the success is attributed to our partnership with the Snapdeal, where we have grown the overall entry level of the smartphone market. With Snapdeal with the launch of Micromax Canvas XP, they are further bringing a very strong product to the consumers to upgrade to the latest 4G phenomena.
