Oppo F1 Plus Review: The new OPPO F1 has got many features like a sleek 6.6 mm body, 16 MP front camera, 4 GB of RAM, 64GB internal storage also you will get a fingerprint reader, covered display in Gorilla Glass 4 a 5.5-inch Full display and a fast charging VOOC technology, Let’s know something more in detail.
Firstly, when you look at OPPO F1 Plus then you will probably think it looks very much like one which has fruity language i.e iPhone 6. This similarity will be a good thing for some people and a little disturbing for some or may be it won’t matter for some people and weather you love or hate OPPO F1 it all depends on your category.
Now coming on to its design the OPPO F1 Plus is very pleasure to be hold. It is thin, sleek and feels very comfortable in the hand. You will get the front protected by Gorilla Glass 4 with 5.5-inch display along with the physical home button which incorporate a fingerprint reader. Now going through the rest phone power button and the dual-SIM tray is on the right while the volume rocker button is on left side.
At the bottom you will find the micro –USB port, 3.5 mm headphone jack and the single speaker. Along with LED flash and the OPPO logo the rear camera is on the back. This smartphone device will be available in two colors: Rose Gold and Gold.
The OPPO F1 Plus comes with 5.5-inch Full HD display. The display is quite bright and easily works in indoors and outdoors. The bezels are amazing and the viewing angles are good. It is just 1.66 mm thick.

The eye protection setting is very interesting feature of OS 3.0 Color on the OPPO F1 Plus. According to a research OPPO stated that the short -wave blue light can be harmful to human eyes. So this eye protection displays feature filters blue light to give a quite low jarring experience that will be very gentle on the eyes. I like this new thinking of OPPO.
HARDWARE and PERFORMANCE
The OPPO F1 Plus has a finger print reader, it boasts 4 GB of RAM and quick charging. The choice of processor is the only thing that only slight it down. The OPPO F1 uses MediaTek Helio P10 that is an octa-core processor with the 8 Cortex-A53 cores. From which 4 cores are clocked at 1.2 GHz and the rest of the four cores are clocked at 2.0 GHz. The CPU is accompanying by the ARM Mali T860 MP2.
But in terms of everyday use most users will not find themselves wishing for the different CPU and because of the nice 4 GB of RAM even some users may find the OPPO F1 Plus more than the sufficient.
As for the software, the F1 Plus uses color OS which means you will get a system that is based on Android 5.1. You have to organize everything into folders on your home screens because there is no app drawer.
Of course, you will get full access on Google’s apps including the Chrome, YouTube and Play store and so on. All the UI parts are redesigned even the volume controls. You will get all the eye candy and animations a different feel and look, it means overall you will get a enjoyable and smooth software experience.
The F1 Plus has a 13MP rear camera along with the auto focus and f/2.2 lens. Overall I like the camera. I have used it for selfies, closeups and casual snaps both in the outdoor and indoor. But yes if you push the lightning scenario to very extreme you may get a lot of noise in the photos.
By default, in case of camera app you will get a simple camera interface but you can swipe your way in to various shooting modes and by tapping on icon you can reveal functions like filters, ultra HD, GIF animation and many more.
So, you will find OPPO F1 Plus an interesting device. It is light, thin and easy to hold. The OPPO F1 Plus is available in UK for 299 pounds and for 389 Euros in Europe.
