Panasonic fully-rugged, 2-in-1 launched at Rs. 2,25,000: In India on Thursday, Panasonic launched a new 2-in-1 lightweight, fully-rugged Toughbook CF-20 that will detached easily to become a 10.1-inch tablet.

The Toughbook CF-20 of Rs. 2,25,000 is a purpose-built for challenging environments by including utilities, transportation and logistics, public safety, defence, field services healthcare and oil and gas. In terms of the durability, it meets MIL-STD-461F and MIL-STD-810G military specifications and the IP65 dust and water resistance.
Gunjan Sachdev the National Business Head (Toughbook), of Panasonic India, told the reporters that, they aimed to meet the evolving needs of the enterprises and the CF-20 is bundled with the broad range of the configurable options. The ability to detach tablet from the notebook provides unparalled reliability and flexibility and the enterprises-grade features.
The Toughbook is equipped with Windows 10 Pro and the CF-20 is powered by the 6th generation 1.1 GHz Intel Core m5-6Y57 vPro processor with the Intel HD Graphics 515 and it comes with the 128GB SSD and RAM of 8GB and it is an optional bridges battery that will allow to hot swap battery replacement for the continuous use. The users can opt for the Windows 7 Professional as well.
Additionally, it sports the glove-enabled 10.1-inch full-HD touchscreen and the purpose-built Vehicle Mount and the Desktop Port Replicator that is armed to meet all the mobile computing needs at the extreme conditions.
Connectivity options include SD card reader, VGA, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, USB, HDMI, Bluetooth, optional 4G LTE, GPS and Ethernet.
In India the Panasonic Toughbook CF-20 will be available in August 2016 from the authorized Panasonic resellers and it is backed by a three-year limited warranty.
