Recently, a desktop flavored version of Android (Remix OS) developed by Jide which is based on Android 6.0 Marshmallow. It is first launched for the HTC Nexus 9 and Google Pixel C tablets. This Remix OS is launched with some special features for multi windows in which you can resize the windows with a single button. This new OS also adds better support for NVIDIA and AMD GPUs along with overall stability.

In July, for a well rapid changing time on Jide’s part Remix OS 2.0 was launched for the tablets which may have had a short time period on Pixel C and the Nexus 9 before Remix OS 3.0 came along. The previous version is still available. But you need to update the latest version if you want some specific new features which are considerable.
Jide also provides a tutorial on how to use it on the device for those who have not the software before on their devices. This simple and straightforward thing will really go to help those who want to give it a try. But one should backup everything in case of things goes wrong.

If you want to try Jide’s new Remix OS 3.0 then you can get the Marshmallow based version of it from the Jide’s website. The download will begin in the form of torrent so you have to make sure that a torrent app installed on your device. It is suggested that you should download the file with a Wi-Fi connection as the file size is 618MB. There will not be any marshmallow features introduced that users didn’t already have access to since Marshmallow was already available in both these tablets. However, some new advance changes will be introduced which makes Remix OS unique. You might want to add Google services, which are not included in the downloaded file. You can download that simply from the Google play store.
