According to reports the Samsung sold about 100,000 units of their Galaxy S7 series within two days of its launch in South Korea. The combined sales of both the Galaxy s7 and Galaxy s7 edge smartphones after hitting the market in Korea on Friday was 60,000 units and that on Saturday was 40,000. The official data says that of the two days sale about 40 % accounted for the Galaxy S7 Edge. But still the demand is not up to the mark as compared to the demand generated by Samsung Galaxy S6 series last year, the sales are roughly on par. However the sales on Saturday was very well as Saturday is denoted as “Slow Day” regarding sales.

These two latest models of Samsung was first showcased in Spain at a trade fair last month. Some remarkable features of these high-end smartphones are water proof, dust resistant and also comes with much larger battery capacities. The low-light camera has been improved with very fast auto focusing. One thing that was missing in galaxy s6 series was the expandable memory option but that is now present in galaxy s7 series. The display of galaxy s7 is 5.10-inch whereas that of galaxy s7 edge is 5.50-inch.
Galaxy s7 comes with a front camera of 5-megapixel and rear camera 12-megapixel and the camera of galaxy s7 edge is same. Battery capacity differs as galaxy s7 has a battery capacity of 3000mAh while galaxy s7 edge has a battery capacity of 3600mAh.

The Galaxy S7 series is expected to revitalize sales as Samsun says because of its mobile business division which was below its heyday figures.
