Samsung Galaxy A7, Galaxy A5 Launched in India: The Korean-tech giant Samsung has unveiled two smartphones named the Galaxy A7 and the Galaxy A5 at the Samsung Forum 2016 event in India, after announcing these smartphones in December last year. The price of Samsung Galaxy A5 is Rs. 29,400 and Samsung Galaxy A7 is priced at Rs 33,400 respectively. The smartphones will be available via Snapdeal and retail stores from 15th February. The smartphones comes integrated with a fingerprint scanner, improved hardware and more premium design compared to their predecessors. Both the phones has dual-SIM supporting 4G LTE smartphones and runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop. Samsung Galaxy A5 specifications: it sports a full HD AMOLED display of 5.2-inch. It is powered by a 1.6GHz octa-core processor. The RAM of the phone is 2 GB along with an expandable memory of 16 GB via SD card. The phone has rear camera of 13-megapixel with LED flash and optical image stabilization, it further has a front facing camera of 5-megapixel for clicking selfies. It sport f/1.9 aperture lenses. It supports non-removable battery of 2,900mAh with fast charging. The connectivity options include Wi-Fi, 4G LTE, Bluetooth, NFC and GPS. The operating system of Samsung Galaxy A5 runs on Android 5.1.1 Lollipop under Samsung’s TouchWiz UI. The dimension of the phone are 144.8×71.0x7.3mm and weighs 155 grams. This phone is quiet affordable as compared to Galaxy A7 and is likely to give competition to phones like Asus ZenFone2 ZE551ML and Motorola’s Moto X Style. Colour options of the device are White, Black and Gold.

It is powered by 1.6GHz octa-core processor. The Galaxy A7 flaunts a rear camera of 13-megapixel along with OIS and aperture f/1.9. On the front it has a front facing camera of 5-megapixel good for video calling and selfies. The smartphone has a RAM of 3 GB with inbuilt storage of 16GB which is further expandable up to 128GB via MicroSD card. Connectivity of the phone includes Bluetooth 4.1, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, USB 2.0, ANT+, NFC and dual-SIM 4G LTE. It sports a non-removable battery of 3,300mAh along with fast charging facilities. The dimensions of the phone are 151.5×74.1×7.3mm and weighs 172 grams. Sensors of the phone include geomagnetic sensors, Accelerometer, a fingerprint scanner and proximity. It runs on Android 5.1.1 Lollipop with TouchWiz UI running on top. According to its price which is Rs. 33,400 this phone will give competition to phones like Gionee Elife E8 and LeEco Le Max.
