Samsung Galaxy A7 Review: 5.5-inch AMOLED Full HD display and 3GB RAM: Two new a series devices was launched by Samsung, at the Forum 2016. Both the smartphones are almost similar but they differ in just size and a few specifications. The price of A7 is Rs.33,400. Let us check the Galaxy A7 in details.
DESIGN: Just like the Samsung Galaxy Note 5 and Galaxy S6, A7 also has a metal and glass body. It did not felt slippery due to its glass body. Along with premium looks, it feels sturdy and solid. It has a good finish with smooth edges. The phone supports dual sim. One being on the upper side and the other slot was along with MicroSD card slot is on the right edge below the power button. The volume button is also on the right edge. It further features a microUSB port mic grilles and 3.5mm audio jack on the lower edge.

DISPLAY: The Galaxy A7 sports a large Full HD AMOLED display of 5.5-inch. It ensures bright and sharp icons. It has a pixel density of 401ppi and it is not at all disappointing.
CAMERA: The Galaxy A7 comes with a rear camera of 13 megapixel. It has a great feature for shaky hands that is OIS (optimal image stabilisation). However, it has a front facing camera of 5 megapixel for better selfies and video recording.
PROCESSOR: The Galaxy A7 is powered by 615 octa-core 64-bit Snapdragon processor. It also has a RAM of 3 GB which will make the device appropriate for smooth performance.
SOFTWARE: The Samsung Galaxy A7 runs on Android 5.1.1 Lollipop and this is very disappointing because it won’t be able to access various features that comes with the Marshmallow Android. The UI of the smartphone is Samsung’s Touch Wiz layer. We cannot say as of now, if the device is upgradable to Marshmallow.
STORAGE: The storage as per announced by the company is 16 GB internal of which 9.76GB is available for the user. It is further expandable via MicroSD card upto 128GB. This enables you to store movies, videos and photos as much as you want by providing sufficient storage space.
BATTERY: The battery capacity of the Galaxy A7 is 3,300mAh. With this the device can go on for a day after charging.
Overall the phone looks quiet good and features some great specifications but the price (Rs 33,400) is what that is working against the device. The price can be taken has very high to people after incoming of several Chinese companies which provides amazing phones with lesser price.
