The smart watch sports a circular watch face design and the interesting bit is its 1.2-inch ‘full circle’ design.
It has 360 x 360 pixel Super AMOLED display which gives a 302ppi pixel density. It is powered by a Samsung Exynos 3250 chipset which houses a dual-core processor clocked at 1GHz and is paired with 512MB of RAM and 4GB of internal storage.
Samsung Gear S2 acts as a fitness tracker and is water- and dust-resistant. Running on the Tizen OS, the Gear S2 comes in three variants – Gear S2, Gear S2 Classic and Gear S2 3G which has a different chipset powering it that offers 3G connectivity. It also houses a 250mAh battery.
The Samsung Gear S2 combines fitness tracking and notifications. It pairs with Android phones and will eventually work with iPhones, according to Samsung.
