Supreme Court rejects 4G plan against Reliance Jio: On Friday, the Supreme Court in a big relief to Mukesh Ambani-led Reliance Group stated that there will be no irregularities in the allocation of 4G spectrum to the Reliance Jio Infocomm i.e. (RJIL) and with allowing it to provide voice services on 4G spectrum.Supreme Court rejects 4G plan against Reliance Jio

The Chief Justice – “T S Thakur, R Banumathi and A K Sikri” they stated that the company has decided to permit the migration to the Unified Licence (UL) regime to provide valid, legal and without any blemish the voice services on 4G spectrum.

They also said that the Spectrum was awarded to the company in an auction in which various prominent companies participated and none of them asked a question on fairness of this process.

The Supreme Court also gave an order, which will now pave a way for smooth rollout for the mobile telecom services on the pan-India basis and this came close on the heels of Reliance Jio by signing an agreement with the Reliance Communications that is controlled by the Mukesh’s younger brother Anil.

According to the deal made between the two companies around 5.5 million RCOM subscribers currently on CDMA network will be moved to 4G platform of Reliance Jio’s.

This shift is expected to be done by the mid of August and after the completion of this integration the customers of both the companies will be easily able to share each other’s networks for voice as well as data.

According to company source after this integration the mobile user of these network could be able to download a two-hour Bollywood movie in just about 3 minutes because once the networks and infrastructure of will be finally integrated by the company then their customers will get the speed of mobile data as high as 100Mbps which seems to be very fast.
